Orbs glitch?

Usually when you touch a free floating orb in the game, a little sound plays and you see it added to your vitality meter and/or red orb count. 

 

However, on mission 16, I noticed that the orbs simply disappear when touched. No sound, nothing added to the meters. Nothing. Even when it disappears on touch, it seems....off. 

 

I'm on mission 18 now. I get all the end of mission bonuses like normal. But considering I don't get credit for any red/green/white orbs in mission, it's costing me yellow orbs that's I've been racking up as well as slowing down my upgrading progress.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a known solution yet?

Nothing like this has happened to me, it's really weird, especially because it's been 5 days since we left and no one complained. Let's hear what other guys are saying.
