Best Choices for Upgrading Gear?

For hard mode what would be the best choice:

 

Upgrade Blades of Chaos all the way then the rest of the stuff

or

Alternate between Blade of Chaos and one of the elements (Fire, Ice, Lightning, or Hades)

 

Which is the best element?

 

Game is good but I don't like how the camera zooms out in the middle of some fights lol ?

I think Fire is the best element. I upgraded that element first.

Ok thanks, but upgrade the weapon first all the way, then fire, or alternate between the two?

The one that cost less first. Otherwise, alternate. First fire then weapon until you reach max level.

I think I read in the guide that it says to upgrade the Ice element one first.  Because when you get kills with Ice Attacks it gives you experience orbs(red).

 

So I would probably upgrade my Weapon first, then alternate that with Ice Magic, which will help you unlock other abilities in the game faster.
