After starting a new game at main menu and speeding through the levels; the problem corrected itself. On the ice level; I only grabbed the heart piece on the the top ice ledge and then gunned straight for the top right exit. The fairy telling of the entrance was present on my second run through the game. Good news was that with the glitch we experienced; the “Ice to Meet You” trophy will pop as soon as you enter the castle door. No need to complete the crystal breaking sequence. Hope this helps.
