Final Boss - Heart of Fury Mode

In case anyone else finds themselves stuck in the same situation, here was my winning strategy.

Otiluke's Resilient Sphere is the perfect decoy for this battle.

I used maxed out characters - 2 clerics (memorise quick buff spells, protection from fire, heal, resurrection, summons and finger of death), 2 paladins (equip one with Conlan's hammer) and 2 Fighter/Mage/Thiefs (memorise buff spells, hastes, finger of death and lots of summons. Ignore other offensive magic completely). Ensure each character has 1-2 oils of speed.

Strategy

1) As soon as the battle starts and your party is debuffed, pause and cast ORS on 1-2 of your characters right where you start. I ORSed a cleric and an F/M/T. Belhifet and the 2x Cornugons should be distracted and exclusively hit the ORSed characters to no effect.

2) There are debuffing traps in a circular pattern within the circle. Figure out where they are and use oil of speed on your 4 remaining characters. Then guide your paladins and 2nd weakest character to the bottom left without hitting any traps inside the circle. Place your weakest character by themself to their right at the bottom.

3) The Iron Golems will activate and then immediately target your weakest character. One of them will likely set off cloudkill when they get close. The leftside golem should ignore your 3 characters and walk directly to your weakest character. Let him walk through. If setup properly, both golems will now be chasing your weakest character around the edge of the field.

4) It's now a game of tag. Both golems will chase the weak character with haste while you order your hasted paladins to pursue the golems and cut them down from behind. Move in a circular pattern outside the circle to avoid all debuffing traps and don't hit Belhifet if he phases near your path. Your 2nd weakest character (mine was the FMT) should now be left alone, so start summoning some more creatures and buffing where possible. DON'T FORGET to recast ORS before it wears off!

5) Once the golems are down, it's only Belhifet and the Cornugons left. Start putting as many summons in the middle to target the 3 remaining enemies and create a barrier. Then get your 2 remaining weakest characters to use finger of death on the Cornugons for instant kills. If the spell fails, get one or both paladins in to the middle fight to take out the Cornugons. Keep your cleric closeby however for quick heals.

6) Once the cornugons are down, it's almost over with Belhifet remaining.. Belhifet will phase in and out of the fray throughout the battle. He'll focus on the ORSed characters and summons so let him. Now, just alternate your paladins in and out. Let one paladin attack and when his health gets low, move back to the cleric for healing. Then immediately bring in your buffed paladin to replace him. Just keep alternating, summoning new monsters, recasting ORS, buffing and ensuring that Belhifet doesn't focus on either paladin whenever they're doing damage.

And with that, you'll eventually wear down the big guy and win the battle.
