xzero4812
It seems in recent talks between Sony and Viacom, they have agreed to a new instant streaming service that will offer live tv shows(played in concurrent with standard cable). If talks are true and deal is finalized many shows that were removed from netflix may be avail to Sony streaming devices and also current shows from MTV,BET,Nick,Comedy Central and etc will be accessible as it airs on cable and satellite channels http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/08/15/sony-and-viacom-sign-deal-for-streaming-internet-television-service.aspx
Piggie_Pie
This is actually really good news... this will compete with the xbone with their cable box looking system that also plays video games. The more that Sony can be a one-stop-shopping center the better off they are in terms of sales numbers. I personally don't watch TV enough to have a cable service.
Tomato
Competition is always good yes but in terms of TV services if you still pay for cable when you have an internet connection and thousands of streams available is kinda pointless.
