Is Just Dance Controller viable?

Hello,

I'm playing this with the phone app and I was wondering if it's a viable way to go for Megastar on everything. Right now the highest I can manage is Superstar on the animal noises can-can. Sometimes it feels like I'll match a move and it will get counted as OK or Good and I can only guess it's because the phone sensors aren't as good for scoring as like a PS camera or PS Move controller. It could also be that I am missing the moves, but certainly some of these feel like strange misses

So I was wondering if it will be worth the extra trouble to plat using phone or if I should just get a different peripheral eventually?

EDIT: As an update for anyone who finds this in the future, phone definitely is viable, you just have to figure out what motion the game actually wants you to perform with it. Often, matching the screen will not get you the Perfects that you need to Megastar a song.

My advice would be to play around with different segments of a song to get a feel for what motions register and what motions don't. Sometimes, it's very straightforward and you can match the motions on screen just fine. I find that "slower" moves tend to be very tricky with the app, often to the point of frustration, so that's a warning ahead of time. Really snappy, punchy movements register very well and all of my Megastars so far have been on songs that require those kinds of movements (FANCY, Can-Can, Baby Shark, and some of the Unlimited library).
