Rank Placement

So i'm not sure if this has ever been posted before but I missed my gold placement in the USA servers. I was planning on waiting for next season and one of my friends said join my party he is from Europe. We played 10 matches in the EU servers and play 10 games to get placed after the 10 matches we won 5/10 with 2 flawless. I got the trophy so what im saying is there's other ways for a second chance rather then waiting for another season to start just find someone in a different region join up in the game party and play with them for 10 matches and get placed. So for an example if you got placed already in the EU and didn't get a high enough placement find someone to play with in the USA to get placed it doesn't matter if the have already been placed. Like I said not sure if this has been shared yet but I figured Id post it to help anybody struggling with that trophy.

They changed it so now you have the same rank across all regions. You can no longer use this method unfortunately.
