supercanaries Posted October 13, 2020 Share Posted October 13, 2020 Good day everybody, I was wondering if anybody could help me with this! I have streamed/recorded without an HDMI splitter for a week (sadly that means playing through my OBS screen), but then I received a splitter. Unfortunately, something weird is happening: after about 1:45:00-1:55:00 of streaming or recording, the microphone (a completely separate piece of hardware) starts lagging. I have no idea how to explain this ... It's clearly not an issue with the microphone and I know it hasn't happened when I streamed without the HDMI splitter. Can somebody help me try and figure out what the source for this issue might be? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DaivRules Posted October 13, 2020 Share Posted October 13, 2020 I would say troubleshoot by trying it again without the splitter to see if you still get the audio lag. The same hardware that controls your display often controls your audio these days. Unless you have a separate sound card. Watch your Task Manager.
