Eraezr Posted January 9, 2022 Share Posted January 9, 2022 (edited) Two reasons. One, my PS4 shelf is more than filled out. So the PS4 Pro will be plenty busy clearing out the remaining backlog. Two, I want absolute software stamped on the disc for future preservation. I don't know how it specifically works in in FC6's case but a lot of the free upgrades I'm seeing still rely on server connectivity for the patch to be downloaded to enable higher Hz/resolution or higher quality textures/post-processing. At least when Judgement Day arrives (or if evil U.S.A decide they want Hiroshima part II - Nuke All of Japan Edition), I can kick back in the apocalypse, enjoying some PS5 games powered by my 44kW/day solar ? For example, The Pathless is digital only on PS4 but is available as a physical copy on PS5.
