Friend of Mine glitched?

First time I played this the first Devil story did come up, and then I never received the second one that's suppose to show right after that.

And at the end of the game I have a dozen stories show up on the map but could not be found, instead all I had were the 'upgraded' stories.

 

Second time I tired I just collected the stories and didn't talk to the campers and still didn't get the second devil story. But the glitched stories were new on the map.

Except for about 20 that seem to be missing.

I'm assuming that those were the ones you need to use a train to have them show up. According to the Steam page anyways.

 

So I'm planning to do one more run, save the game online before grabbing the first devil story and just reload everytime I don't get the second story,

Bit of a late response, but for me it didn't pop up right away either. It was probably 10-20 stories later that it finally showed up.

 

I just earned the Platinum. The four Carnivale stories were the very last four stories that I could access. The map still shows a ton left that aren't showing up, and my Stories tab indicates I don't have all of them, but even without those I now have the plat.

 

Check around for a few stories that are on the map, and not near a city or campfire. Those ones typically are the ones that WILL show up, as long as you've done the train hop fix.

I hope I get this trophy. I have about 21 unseen stories, but they are harder to find with some not even being where the map says. I won't feel like replaying this game if I finish the final 4 stories that I need to finish the game.
