I thought Fimbul had good music and decent art/atmosphere, but bad combat, still art, and story. It feels like the game could have been fair had it gone through some more playtesting to polish the rough edges... Oh well.

 

If you're still taking the plunge, know that:

 

-Almost all trophies are story-related.

-You'll need 1.5 playthroughs.

-Playthrough 1: spare the 3 trolls and Knut to get You Will Live Another Day, Go Back To Jotunheim, and Bringing Trolls To A Jotun Fight.

-Playthrough 0.5: go to Lifestring, and pick the first troll life/death choice (no need to fight it again). Choose to kill it, and go on through the story choosing to Kill Knut and the two other trolls. You will get You'll get Brother Shall Kill Brother after Knut, and Your Life Ends Here Troll and the platinum when you kill the 3rd troll.

-The only potentially missable trophy would be to not transform into a Jotun at the end of the game (you do when you special bar is maxed out). Not sure if you can beat the last boss without it, though...

-Note that you can simply choose the Knut life/death choice and pick the other one if you want the trophy right away.

It’s been a few years, but I recall it being a two-evening game or so? Not very hard at all, maybe a 3-4 (I’m someone who uses the full 10-point scale).
