Chapter select for achievements

Are the trophies actually missable? I read they made an update during the game life cycle and added chapter select. Have anyone tried finishing the trophies via chapter select? does it work?

Some trophies are still very missable, even with Chapter Select - because most stats don't carry over unless you continue playing from that point onwards e.g you can't skip from Chapter 3 to Chapter 6 and still keep all the collectibles and items you found in the earlier chapter because the game only remembers what you had on you at the time the Chapter Select bookmark was first made. The only way to keep your unlocks, collectibles and trophy progress is to pick a chapter then continue playing from that point onwards.
