Running is very weird

Very often, I press the button to run, character doesn't run,  I press the button again, my characters runs for a second and goes back to normal walking. What is it?

the same thing happened to me, but it was in Crash. then i found that my button was damaged.

Yeah, but in this game, there's a stamina bar, so as you run out of stamina, your character slows down, and you can continue to run a second later for some few seconds before you run out again. If you wait long enough stamina reloads fully etc. Basically, what he said is pretty much my experience of running out of stamina.

Nah, sometimes I slow down even at 80% of stamina, for some reason it also seems like the angle of running changes the character's speed
