Collections badge trophy

I am having trouble getting the crucible metallic shader does anyone know if this still drops as I only need that for the collections badge trophy I have reset in crucible and nothing dropped the shader I needed.

I believe you can only get that shader if you were to dismantle an item that had it equipped, and even then I don't think it's a 100% chance you'll get it.

All gear is designed to have the look of a certain shader by default. Sometimes gear has a random chance to come with a different shader already applied to it. That Crucible shader is one such shader. The only way to get it added to your collection is to dismantle a Crucible-specific weapon or armor piece that dropped with that shader already applied to it.

 

Whether or not gear can still drop with that shader on it, I don't know. If it can, then it's completely random when you'll get something with it. The sources of gear that could drop with that shader, assuming it still drops, are: the weekly pinnacle for doing three Crucible playlist matches, the weekly powerful engram from Shaxx for doing eight of his Crucible bounties, random legendary rewards you have a chance to get at the end of a Crucible match, and the random low power legendary rewards you get from Shaxx every time you rank up.
