Playing the game normally then auto popping the trophies

I’m looking at having a normal playthrough of each game without bothering going for the trophies and just having fun. Am I able to auto pop the trophies once Ive done a playthrough? I assume I just import my save after I’ve play it? Cant be bothered going through all the treasures again

I can't see why it wouldn't work. It should autopop whatever would have popped if you loaded them first, minus whatever you earned on the fresh playthrough.

Yes it should work without any problem. 
The PS4 saves upload is just adding a new save on your ps5, and then when you launch it, it will auto pops all additional trophies that have been earned during your PS4 playthrough. 
by the way, PS4 save has not auto popped dozens of specific actions trophies that I had probably done by chapter select after finishing the game and thus that are not in the save. So you still have to replay many parts of the game
