Is Serial killer bugged?

Just got my 5k kills trophy, still haven't got the 1k trophy?  Any ideas

The trophy is bugged since there hasn't been any recent achievers.

It's slightly bugged, but still obtainable.

 

You need to do 1,000 kills in one game session, without closing the game or exiting to the main menu (same as with 50 nocturnal kills).

Cheers, I read this just after I made my post and got the trophy.  Is there a good place to farm nocturnals?

I don't recall any specific mission or location, but Nocturnal infected appear while playing at night and usually come in pairs. Any night mission should work; just hang out in a spot you feel comfortable with and wait for them to come to you. There's usually a 15-30 second wait in between spawns, so it could take up to 15 minutes to farm all 50 kills.
