How do players connect to ranked games?

Me and my friend are trying to do the online skirmish trophies, (Not Co op)
What is the process of doing this? How can we join each other?

 

We both ending up in open lobbies after using any of the 3 options

(Quick match, Custom game and Create game)

Wondering the same myself atm, did you find out how to go about it?

The official way is for both of your to click Quick Match around the same time. If you want to tweak the settings, one of you needs to click Create Game and the other Custom Game to join it. With all of this being said though, you should read about the MP problems the game has, there might be possible solutions in the other thread.

I am playing the game right now. in our case, we try to join via the countryside and if we succeed, we just have to go in quick match for the 2 because we know that it's doable. If you can't join the campaign, it's because the servers aren't stable and there's no point in trying, it won't work. in this case of figurine, it is necessary to try again 30 min later.
