spyrodragonboi
Has anyone had Ape Escape updated on PS5/PS4 lately? When I pause the game, most or all of the background just goes black in some areas. Seriously, why break what was running perfectly? sepheroithisgod
I platted the game a few days ago. Seemed like it ran fine to me.
spyrodragonboi
This was updated less than two hours ago. Pause at the Time Station and you'll see.
jefXfree
When you un-pause does the game come back? Or does it remain black? Is the game turning black, or are you seeing a black UI overlay? Can you share images of what you're seeing?
spyrodragonboi
I'm unable to share images but yes, the game does come back. It just happens in certain parts such as the Time Station or random levels, such as 1-3 Molten Lava. When you pause, the PlayStation buttons appear but either the whole background or or part of it behind the menu turns black.
jefXfree
Sorry about that. I'll pass the info along.
PLATINUM-DESMOND
Yes yesterday I did on my PS4 and my game works fine it has new features like PAL-NTSC swap also new rewind features and more. It’s more for the emulator for PS1/PSP games on PS4/PS5. Also game seems to run a lot smoother and resolution looks better. I think they will do this for all classic games but what makes me excited is why do all this it only means there’s a lot more games to be expected to release they wouldn’t go through the time and effort for these new features for nothing. I could be wrong but you never know. Just now, MasterDesmonds said: Yes yesterday I did on my PS4 and my game works fine it has new features like PAL-NTSC swap also new rewind features and more. JoeNDM
Yeah when I pause the game the button icons and text appear as well as black square underneath it that almost covers the entire game screen except for a small bit at the bottom and the right. Looks like a visual big, on top of the potential trophy bugs I noted in another thread (NTSC PS4 version on UK console).
