Dragon-Archon Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) for anyone else that is having trouble with the four kings (on new game or NG+), l used this setup for a strength/ dexterity build: covenant of artorias ring (needed to access 4 kings) ring of favor and protection mask of the mother (for extra hp) or mask of the child (for extra stamina regen) havel's armor havel's gauntlet havels boots claymore +15 (standard reinforced) wielded two handed grass shield +14 great magic weapon sorcery oolocile ivory catalyst to cast the weapon buff this setup has a poise of 85 and you can deal quite some damage when wielding the claymore with two hands. I kept the second right-hand weapon slot empty as to reduce the total weight of my equipment burden. On NG+ I had 50 points in vitality, 40 in endurance and 30 in both strength and dexterity.
