<p style="text-align: center">My name is Derek. I'm 24 years old and I've been gaming since a mere year or two of age. My brother always tell me that he remembers me beating the first level of the original Mario Bros on the NES before I could talk. I think that's something to hang my hat on, right? Throughout the years I've played many a number of games, but to be honest I've found myself struggling to see many games through too the end. Much like my PS3 collection, I found myself only really beating Third Person Shooters like Mafia 1 and GTA San Andreas.</p>

<p style="text-align: center">This is part of the reason trophies/achievements have become so enticing for me. It encourages me to play games to their fullest (something I've certainly been known to not do) and there's absolutely a sense of achievement in finally getting the platinum. As much as I would like to, I don't expect to platinum certain games on my list... but I'm happy to have the ones I do have and will continue to work towards them at my leisure. <img alt=" " class="bbc_emoticon" src="https://psnprofiles.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.png"></p>

<p style="text-align: center">I've never bought a game simply for the trophies, but I typically won't buy a game that doesn't have them even if there's a mild interest in them (*coughMetalGearSolid4cough*). I love the trophies! I'm hoping building this thread over time will help keep me motivated in those moments where I grow weary of trophy hunting.</p>
