I'll admit that I left Final Fantasy 16 out due to the other good games (Diablo 4, Zelda TOAK, Baldurs Gate3, Mortal Kombat, etc.) and yes, until I really got into the game. The beginning was also tough, until so right a flow pure comes and there are just very many and very long video sequences, the quests are so mediocre from the gameplay, but...

The story is gripping and the graphics just awesome. Now after the fight against Typhon it slowly picks up speed. I can't deny that the game entertains me well. I like it a lot!

The characters have a timer bar that has to fill before they can take an action, be it partial or whole, still makes it turn based. They can take an early partial turn or later full bar turn.

I am kind of torn on this game.  It feels like just another cinematic experience movie game with tons of scripted content that is really only going to be played in one way that the developers laid out
