Handyman & Imposing Arsenal Requirements

For players looking to tackle this game and acquire platinum, there is quite a grind required to fully unlock all items. As of the current update 1.48 (11-8-23) you will need to grind the following amount of credits:

• For Co-Op Campaign: 92,000 Credits
• For all Weapons to level 5: 70,000 Credits

 

Total: 162,000 Credits

 

If you were to complete Episode 1: New York - Descent on Extreme in under 15 minutes for 850 credits, that would take 63 hours to grind, not including your progress across both modes.

 

If you have access to the DLCs, complete Episode 5: Marseille - Missile Command on Extreme up to the first swarm at the elevator and die. This will net you 640 credits in under 7 minutes per run including loading times. This would equate somewhere close to 42 hours grinding time.

 

Optimally, you unlock nothing through multiplayer and co-op, but level up all weapons to the point of level 5 unlock, then back up your save to the cloud. Purchase all level 5 weapons, then unlock all perks later with less grinding required.

 

Edited: Apparently Multiplayer perks are not required for the trophy, although the trophy guide says they do. You may have to grind 42,500 credits for multiplayer if it does not unlock.

If the credits for multiplayer are for buying the perks, that is no longer needed for the trophy, which thankfully cuts out that small grind.

Do you still have to level up all multiplayer classes to 13 lvl or it is also not needed now?

I just got the trophy. Can confirm you do not need to purchase the PVP classes perk for the Handyman trophy. You only need to purchase all the PVE classes perks (Normal no prestige)
