Is it possible to solo this game?

Ive been interested in this game for a while but Ive learned it does not have public matchmaking. Is it possible to get the 100% while playing the game solo and if so, how much harder would it be?

Ive played this exclusively solo and the only trophy you need another person for is 20 revives which you can do with a 2nd controller, and also a dlc trophy for completing a challenge in co op which you can also just split screen

Thanks for the quick response. Glad to hear that I can enjoy the game on my own. It looks like a lot of fun but finding 3 friends to commit to a Minecraft game that gets endless amounts of DLC is quite a task.

That latter one is a bit annoying to solo because the partner teleport is not very reliable, so you have to constantly switch controllers to move the other player closer to be able to continue. But still easy to solo, especially because you can just play that on the lowest difficulty to not get killed while juggling controllers.

 

Overall, the game is easy but has some grindy bits because you become stronger by equipping stronger items.  But you will eventually outlevel everything including the bosses. Only  real challenge is the tower because there you will always play without your gear.

 

Also, be aware that some of the DLCs are additional purchases  (all except the last three, iirc).
