grigsby81
With the PS Portal coming out next month, I’m starting to create a list of games that I’m saving to play on the Portal. What do you plan to play on your Portal?
Aldarain
I was thinking about getting the Portal for JRPGs when it comes to mindless grinding but at this moment I am still unconvinced I will get one. I don't see enough advantages over Remote Play on some mobile devices.
SpaceIsDandy
None; even if i were gifted one its just a harder to transport, more cumbersome, less feature packed remote play device than my phone (if i ever felt the absolute need to play on the toilet); and if i am at home (but scared to use a ps5 controller?) the pc remote play app (with a macro) is vastly superior to the portal (even lets you play ps5 games with ps4 controller and 99% here has a pc anyway... GentleJordy
As some others have said, I'm going to wait on reviews AKA haven't really seen a good reason to get one. I'm a big PS Vita lover too but all of the functionality in this device I can do on my phone so might save $200.
Xylobe
I've gotten some good mileage out of the Backbone I picked up for my phone earlier in the year, and I've had a lot of difficulty trying to cook up a use case where lugging around a dedicated remote play device would be better. Maybe reviews will highlight some key point that I'm missing, but so far it's only seemed like a complete waste of time.
zemiguelreis
Well, one of my suggestions if you like platformers is Rayman Legends daily challenges. They take around 15 minutes per day and you will probably need a few months to reach the final level of awesomeness.
