Would you say this is an effective grinding method, or are there better ones?

 

I haven't played GTA Online yet, I'm still in the intro (just got past the character creation)

I'd imagine it would be good for grinding early levels but not 100% sure.

It is a fine grinding method but it depends On what you mean by grinding, grinding for cash, RP or survival waves?

 

If going for cash, then there are better options such as Cayo Perico, even doing back-to-back VIP jobs will net more than a survival.

 

And if going for RP, then there are still better methods, such as single crate sales, which can be in the region of 37,500 RP every 40 minutes, compared to the 3000 RP from a 20-minute survival.

 

For survival waves or the survival trophy, while the strategy is quite good, there are AFK survivals out there which people usually farm early on.
