steveblazinggrin Posted April 8 Share Posted April 8 I'm not sure if you're referring to the actual first race which takes place in the beginner league or if you're talking about the first race in the champion league. If you're still in the beginner league, you need to win races to unlock better things to craft. If you're in the champion league, make sure that you have actually equipped the things you crafted by pressing triangle before starting a race. Outside of that, I do remember the first race in the champion league being the only one I failed on, just remember to cut as many corners as possible instead of directly following the blue arrows, it'll give you and edge as the CPUs tend to follow the path quite rigidly.
