Is platinum possible/difficult WITHOUT the playlink app?

I am unable to get the playlink app.  Is this trophy possible/difficult without it?

 

I am debating on getting this game.  I really enjoy ticket to ride and have been playing the steam version.  Would really like to get this platinum before it gets taken out of the store.

I don't think it's impossible, but very, very difficult as you will need to do everything with NPCs, sometimes 3 or 4 of them, and some trophy conditions are so specific that one wrong move by the NPC, and you can start over.

I think the playlink app is mandatory to even play the game on solo mode, but maybe I am mistaken 🤔

Oof.  I am unable to find the playlink app on the iOS app store, even though it says it is still available.  Do you guys know if it is still there?

It's not in the UK App Store .

No, solo mode (against NPCs) works just with a regular controller
