Lady Lilith
http://gamerant.com/nintendo-trademarks-pokemon-delta-emerald/ There’s already plenty of Pokemon titles scheduled to arrive on the Nintendo 3DS in 2014, and fans of the franchise are looking forward to getting their hands on all of them later this year. The biggest announcement related to the franchise thus far has been word that remakes of two Game Boy Advance classics, aptly titled Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, will be arriving later this November. There’s little question that trainers have been waiting on these games for years, and it seems possible that they could be joined by a third GBA Pokemonremake at some point down the line. Minecraft Genius Builds a Working Stargate Apparently the Big N has taken the necessary steps to trademark Pokemon Delta Emerald in Japan, which sounds suspiciously like a remake of the third entry in the Ruby and Sapphireseries. The original Pokemon Emerald released for Game Boy Advance in 2005 (’04 in Japan). The trademark itself was filed on May 2nd of this year and was officially made public on May 29th – much to the delight of Pocket Monster aficionados the world over. While the prospect of traversing through the Hoenn region multiple times is an appealing one (especially if the changes we expect to see inOmega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire occur), this trademark for Pokemon Delta Emerald has likely only been acquired in order for Ninty to protect itself. If there could be potential issues down the line then laying claim to an official title now prevents that, so the logic is sound in doing so. Some may remember that, prior to the reveal of Pokemon Black 2 andWhite 2, a web domain for Pokemon Gray was registered by Nintendo. As many are well aware, nothing ever came of that and likely never will, so fans should keep their expectations in check. That said, there’s still a possibility that The Pokemon Company and the house of Mario have plans for that name, so stay tuned to Game Rant for more details if and when they arrive. ___ Meanwhile, gamers can look forward to Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire arriving on the Nintendo 3DS in November 2014. Why didn't they do Yellow and Crystal if that were true? I would have loved a Crystal/Yellow remake, since the RBY/GSC generations are easily my favorite. WuTangJase-
Hmm. I still dont think it would be a possible remake. I don't think they'd go through with it.
Lady Lilith
Wasn't the Battle Frontier the only real new feature that Emerald had? It's pretty obvious it'd be in OR/AS, since it was in HG/SS.
Parker
That is kind of strange. It really doesn't make sense that they'd remake Emerald as well because like you said, they didn't bother to remake Yellow or Crystal. I doubt they'll actually release it though.
