Anyone thats got the game and played it a fair bit , how would you rate the difficulty and time it would take to get the platinum?

According to the PSN trophy list, no one has earned the platinum yet. It's really hard.

There are a few trophies glitched, so no one can obtain them atm, but the developers are working on a patch for those problems.

 

Personally, I don't know how hard it is on PS4, but the game is quite tricky on PC from what I've played.

It's definitely difficult, especially at first since the controls are as awkward as they are.  With that being said, video guides make some of the trickier trophies less difficult.

This game isnt as hard as ppl think it is.

Once you get a grip on the controls its actually quite easy.. The only reason why the plat is not obtained is because some trophies are glitched, but they are working on a patch.

I believe the only trophy glitched is "Best Surgeon in The Universe."

 

The game is quite hard at first, I was rage quitting because I couldn't do a freakin heart transplant. It gets easier, but as long as you can clear the ambulance speed runs you'll be okay. And all the A++ on the ambulance.

Yea, like others have said, a few trophies are glitched. They've been working on a patch for it, saying it's on the way for a couple weeks now so... =/  But aside from that, if you practice the controls and devote yourself to the trophy challenges you can do it. Hardest part is being patient, those controls are meant to be awful and it can be frustrating.
