JG-Ray
I just took the plunge and bought a ps4. I feel a little embarrassed to say that I cannot figure out how on earth to get anything to work on it. I always hooked an external hardrive to my ps3 along with mp3 songs and movies. I cannot get my ps4 to read my drive. Either that or I can't find where to find the files of the drive. Anyone know what is up?
Tomato
Whenever you plugged it should just come up on the main menu with huge USB icon, make sure the storage device is FAT32 format because I don't think the ps4 can read any other. Masamune
I was trying the new USB Music Player (update 2.0) with my external HDD, I have all my music in a folder titled "MUSIC" (all caps & no extra folders either), when I first plugged it in the PS4 it said "the file system wasn't supported" but the music still showed & played just fine via the USB Music Player. I don't know about things like pictures & movies though...
