Additional details: Hawkeye was born in Skyrim to a pair of wealthy parents, both of whom were murdered in cold blood by General Tulius of the Empire. Hawkeye escaped unseen and swore vengeance for the wrongful deaths of his parents. He enlisted into the Stormcloak army and quickly rose through the ranks. His courage, loyalty, and love of Skyrim made him popular among his fellow soldiers, and landed him a place as Ulfric's personal bodyguard. The speculate that the future holds great things for Hawkeye.

Chie is a duskright Elezen originally from New Gridania.  Despite her heritage and upbringing Chie always felt that she was drawn to be somewhere else - which was particularly peculiar given her nature as a conjurer.  Tired of the brambles of the Black Shroud she ventured to different parts of Eorzea. 

 

Oh, fine, fine - She was actually originally kicked out of Gridania because she was infatuated with Ramuh's facial hair (Praise be to the Lord of Levin!).  Given that he is a primal it was extremely dangerous and frowned upon to worship the whisker. For her own sake, and the sanity of those around her, she was... "prompted" to explore.

 

Upon visiting Ul'dah she fell in love with the scale of the town and the music and decided to pledge her allegiance to the Immortal Flames.  Her immediate dedication to the city-state had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Raubaun and Nanamo and how THEY ARE PERFECT TOGETHER and should be in love and have lots of healthy BABIES, Ramuh's beard providing.  Raubaun is basically Nanamo's mount already they should seal the deal.  Or I'll MAKE THEM SEAL THE DEAL. ... er... However, since Ul'dah is basically a town of hobos and midget children Chie decided to get the f*ck out.

 

Luckily Chie found solace in the green hills and crisp air of Limsa Lominsa.  Her nature belonged to this land, ironically unrepresented by either her city-state or her grand company.  She works with the Scions to protect the green hills surrounding Limsa Lominsa from future calamity and to eventually save up enough Gil to get away from Minfilia erm... retire there.  Yeah.

 

After traversing Eorzea Chie met the Bard Loryne and the Monk Plagorus who both enjoyed llamas and butlers.  Together they formed the Free Company Thatchermage, along with the Black Mage, Chyron.  They all enjoy sitting in the hot tub and petting tiny tapirs.  They were even nice enough to let her dedicate her room to Ramuh's sexual sacrifices beard. Their Free Company house is located in the Lavender Beds.  You could ask how Chie was able to sneak back in Gridania, much less live there, but given how much she worships Ramuh's beard do you really want to know?

 

Despite working as a White Mage she has dabbled in arcanist and black mage abilities.  She plans to take on astrologlian next, so she can use tarot cards to embrace the whisker, Ramuh be praised.

 

Tidbits:

- She is quite taken with Urianger believe it or not.

- She is as good at Chocobo Racing as she is bad at Triple Triad.

- Her favorite minion is Goobbue.

- Her favorite mount is Fat Chocobo, naturally.

- She can not understand what any of the pirates in Limsa are saying.

- She also really likes Coerthas because snow angels.

- She likes to pretend she is a Thundercat during low-level roulette raids.

General summary: MapleStory is a 2D MMORPG that's had many changes in the past ten years. What once took years to achieve can now be accomplished in under 24 hours. It's a very, very, very grindy game, but that's one of the reasons I love it.

Additional details: oddtank is a Paladin of Light. He aggros his enemies to protect his allies, but he doesn't mind. In fact, he likes it when his enemies attack him. He only takes a single point of damage from the strongest of foes, so he doesn't even have a safe word for his allies to heal him. He has his own self healing skill that allows him to take even more glorious ones from bosses as he laughs in their faces. On top of his holy defense, oddtank has three skills that make enemies quake in fear. His first fearsome skill is known as Divine Shield. With it he can passively block 10 attacks every 30 seconds. It also grants him 20 bonus attack points while the shield is active. Invincibility and extra attack make this quite a fearsome skill. The next great skill of this holy warrior is Sacrosanctity. It grants him complete immunity from all damage, debuffs, and damage reflecting skills that his enemies throw at him for 30 seconds. He could make it last longer if he wanted, but he doesn't like it when he isn't getting beat up by his enemies. These two shields combined with his defense that breaks the game's defense cap make his a valuable ally and a difficult enemy to face. His holiest skill is known simply as Heaven's Hammer. It leaves up to 15 mobs on the screen with a single hit point left every 15 seconds. He could kill them with his hammer if he wanted, but oddtank is a sadist and a masochist. He would rather leave them with one HP so that they can still attack him and so that they can suffer more when he overkills them. There is no defense from oddtank's hammer of god. Even Thor is jealous of oddtank's hammer as Mjölnir was crafted with two flaws while Heaven's Hammer is crafted of pure, flawless light.

 

He may not be the strongest warrior on the field of battle, but with enough time oddtank can solo even the legendary Mirror World Empress Cygnus and her evil minions.
