PS Now and Updates?

Hello fellow trophy hunters!!

So i recently purchased PS Now. Its awesone in my opinion and works flawlessly and im using wifi. So many trophies to get!

My question is for people who have it already. When you play a game from PSNow, Are the patches/ updates already installed? Theres a few games i want to play but not sure if the updates are included. When i start a game it doesn't download anything. Yes i tried google but didnt help much.

I would assume that Sony has the most up to date version on their servers.

That's what im thinking but i have no idea. I was playing dead island and that hasnt been updated.

Since you're only streaming the game you shouldn't be prompted for any patches, as the games should already be updated.  What have you encountered in Dead Island that would lead you to believe its not updated?

All patches are included in the games. Some DLC isn't, however. It's up to the developer whether or not they want to include their DLC in the games. It will tell you in the description which DLC are included in the game before you start playing it.
