I actually don't care much for FF7. It's a good game, to be sure, but I much prefer 1 - 3, and 6, 8, and 9.

I'm surprised to see him actually acknowledge the disastrous situation the FF series is in at this point. A brand that actually meant something in the '90s is barely even recognized by people in 2016. As a person who grew up during a time when FF was great, it makes me a little sad.

 

I really hope SQEX understands what the true problems with FF are and that they can make it relevant again.
