That This can only be done on certain maps as not all of them have bottomless pits. I'd recommend trying it on any of the king of the hill Control maps, Ilios, Lijiang Tower, and Nepal. Most of those you can easily knock a few people off the map near the capture point. Other maps that could work include the beginning part of Route 66 and the end of King's Row.
