How do i copy and paste on a iMac?

Yeah im new to the iMac bought it 3 days ago cost me £1152 with 3 years apple care lol.

How do i copy and paste on it? The mouse is like a touch pad or something and doesn't have a right click? So i highlight it then i dont know what to do and ive tried CTRL+V.

CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste doesn't work? I have no idea what else would work, except plugging in a proper mouse.

erm, if its a laptop, you can touch the touchpad with 2 fingers and press the click button, this will bring up the menu similar to right click on windows.

you can also hold the option button, and then click the mouse click button. that will bring up the same menu.

as for shortcuts, you have to hold the apple key and do the shortcut imputs, such as apple+c, apple+v, apple+p. similar to the windows ctrl key.

Command - C = Copy

Command - V = Paste

Command - A = Select All

And the mouse, if its the Mighty/Magic mouse may have one button, but if you click on the right side, boom right click.

That's where im going wrong I didn't realise the apple button was like the CTRL button. Thanks guys!
