Orlay_
I'm only going to add tips for things normal gamers may not consider. Guns that are throw for reload do damage based on the amount of amount in the clip. If you fire once then throw the gun, the target effected will take very heavy damage. It's most effective on thrown reloads that explode or do slag damage. Shotguns do the heaviest damage. - HIGHLY EFFECTIVE FOR FIGHTING BADASS AND SUPER BADASS ENEMIES. Weapon elemental set up, if you can help it: Corrosive (armored and machine enemies), Fire (flesh, unshielded), Slag (shields and tough enemies with a lot of health), explosive/sniper/rockets/assault rifle. My fourth weapon is either explosive damage or standard damage so I have a backup weapon for elemental resistance fights or a heavy damage weapon for times when ammo is tight. I try to keep this weapon a pistol or smg because of the ammo to damage ratio. Edited September 26, 2012 by Aeirou

You need to be decently close for an accurate hit, aim for upper body when you throw it.. shoulder height at least.
