No local co-op.

Section 1: Omega/Koei one of only companies left today that produces numerous amounts of couch co-op games and was the godsend for the couch co-op lovers has dropped the ball and left couch co-op out of A.O.T.

 

Section 2: Same as section 1 but with a rant.

 

I had set money aside, I was amped to buy this the SECOND it hit the store! My wife and I were going to indulge the hell out of this and plat it in no time! We have played A LOT of Omega/Koei games before! Couch co-op is a dying breed, but we were huge fans of Omega/Koei because they were one company that everyone could rely on for couch co-op:

• Dynasty Warriors 6
• Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires
• Dynasty Warriors 7
• Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires
• Dynasty Warriors 8
• Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires
• Gundam 2
• Gundam 3
• Gundam Reborn
• One Piece Pirate Warriors.

The list goes on! So I never really read up on A.O.T game to avoid spoilers and what-not. Than I heard it has no couch co-op... Omega/Koei now has dropped out of my top 3 developers, and aren't getting my 70$ on release. They'll get the 8$ on a flash-sale a year from now. Fuck You Omega/Koei.

I have a new theory that lack of couch co-op games is the reason the divorce rate is as high as it is, as the two correlate with each other over time.

 

So if you don't like couch co-ops, YOU are destroying families! If you're a gaming company who doesn't add couch co-op to your games, YOU hate life ITSELF!

How would that work in coop? 

If you did splitscreen so much of it would be cut off, you would lose all peripheral vision/awareness.
