BUGSY NOT INTERACTING

The parts where Bugsy have to lift me on onto the ledges he doesn't response. I first time in the game where he must lift me up i spend a minute or two before he respond but now on I'm at nearly at the end of the game and he doesnt response. Yes I'm doing it right but he won't response. I'm redownloading the game but just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem or is there a solution

Problem was I was going for the speedrun trophy at the same time. I was stuck in that situation for a good 40 minutes. I reloaded my save everytime as not to lose time on the speedrun. I even deleted the game and reloaded it and it still didn't work. Got up the next morning and tried it a few times and it eventually worked along with the speedrun and plat.

Solution is simply dont hold the X Button down press it once to select bugsy and press it again on the ledge.

I've already got the platinum and yes I did "hold the X Button down press it once to select bugsy and press it again on the ledge" a thousand times. Lucky it eventually worked out for me.
