Destroy Metal Kor before the attack?

Is it possible to get the trophy for destroying metal kor at the nest before the trophy for attacking the metal head nest?

No, because you must watch the cutscene to unlock the path to Kor, you can technically skip to Kor with the Jet-Board glitch, but IIRC he won't be there, you need a trigger to spawn both him and the stage, which is the cutscene to destroy the nest, giving you the trophy.

 

Some things can be skipped with the Jet-Board and your trophies will be messed up, but not this one. People always make sure to trigger the cutscene in speedruns and whatnot.

I wouldn't think so because Metal Kor is the last boss on the game before the final cutscene is activated. This video shows how someone can speed run The Metal Head Nest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pteoz4hrCY4 but it doesn't necessarily skip out the entire area, so yeah you'd have to go through the Metal Head Nest to have the opportunity to fight Metal Kor.
