A series of tutorials made by the development team, just because apparently the in-game tutorials are pretty spare. There's no actual button assignments mentioned, because you can remap controls and the tutorials were filmed with both PC and Xbox gamers in mind:

In a nutshell: make money, buy a better ship, go out into the frontier and find interesting things to see, meet interesting people along the way and blow up all their shit.
