Nyarlathotep Trophy

First I beat the game "accepting" all the shards all the trophies associated popped no problem.

Second playthrough I destroyed all  the shards as I got them and all trophies besides the Nyarlathotep trophy popped,

So do I have to beat the game with less than all shards either destroyed or absorbed or whats the deal with this trophy?!?

It's for the neutral ending. So yeah you have to beat the game again without destroying/corrupting. I think you can use the shards just as long as you don't use all 7 for one thing. I got it with all 7 shards in my inventory.

That bummed me out.

From the trophy description I thought you just need to beat Nyarlathotep to get it! Now I don't have motivation to do a third run. I should have done research before hand though.

I combed through the list and used my own judgement and figured out not to use any shards if I wanted to do one playthrough. I saved all 7 and used cloud saves to get my platinum. It's probably a bit harder going through without using shards, but I completed it in like 15 hours.

So there are 3 endings? good, bad, neutral? Destroy all, use all, use/destroy (mix of the 2). I'v got all skills and just grinding now. I'd like to know so i can prep myself for 3 engdame boss fights.
