Trophy for 100% is not unlocking

I played the game on a different account and with the help of a guide we actually found a 50th student in peril and thought: Wow, for once the mistake was actually ours and the game didn't glitch on us. We then went ahead and played the bonus level, unlocked all the characters, paused the game to see that indeed everything was there and finally had a look at the trophies to see what else there was left. You probably can imagine the drastic mood change when we saw that there is a gold trophy for getting 100% that did not unlock.

 

Obviously, we have gotten the 200 bricks and therefore all the crests and students in peril. We also bought all the spells, red bricks and characters (so we obviously had to complete every level). Even though there seemed to be no incentive to do so, we also completed the builder tutorials. What could we possibly have missed?

First things first, does it say you have 100% when you pause the game? When you're in Free roam.

Yes, that was part of what we checked in the pause menu There is a blinking 100% there, same with the save game.

Buy all of the spells

 

Did you complete all of the bonus Gringotts levels?

 

Do a serious double-check that EVERY character is purchased. If this isnt working, you have to force the game to reread its statistics counts:

 

Try saving and loading the game save again. Complete a level in free play. Collect more studs.

 

Still not working? Uninstall the patch and complete another level in free play.

We started the game and upon leaving the Leaky Cauldron (to check the spells and characters) the trophy appeared out of nowhere. I wish all Lego related issues had such an easy way to resolve themselves.
