Missing people?

So I started a new game not embraced anyone I’m at chapter 4 and the docks are not hostile but got 3 people saying missing do these return? Have I got to yet again start another playthrough and like I said I haven’t embraced anyone this was gonna be a collectible run.

If the people that was missing was the one from Night Asylum then do not worry. Those are not need for the trophy.

But are the missing people still in my game somewhere that i can find or are they gone forever as i know 1 of them i need a weapon off?

If they are missing is because are turned, I'm not sure if once you find and killed you will get the drops. If you can see in your map an exclamation marks, is one of the missing that are turned. Just try and see if they drops the weapons, if is not the case, sadly  you have to make a new play through. :/
