Watching 2 different let's plays one on normal and another on hard and looks like the normal difficulty was getting a lot more shards and equipament drops. Is there any reason to play on higher difficulties since there is no trophy for it? Does it affect drop rate or xp gain or anything relevant or is it just for the challenge? majob Posted July 1, 2019 Share Posted July 1, 2019 (edited) Hard mode only affects the amount of damage enemies do and changes their locations. Nightmare mode keeps you at level 1.
