I have 2 ps3 controllers but only one for ps4, do I need to buy a 2nd ps4 controller to platinum this? And if not, how would I set up the ps3 controllers to work with a ps4? I suppose on the plus side, there's no fear of servers shutting down as it is just coop against AI, and as far as I'm aware you don't even need a second player, as in the second player just needs a controller but can just sit doing nothing. The-Smiths-85 Posted March 29, 2020 Share Posted March 29, 2020 (edited) In some games it allows you to enter certain modes by changing the first controller in settings to a second pad. Have you tried it? Edit: just checked the game and it seems you really need two controllers. This game won't let you choose two players option if you don't have both of them turned on.
