Missing Timestamps

Was looking through someones profile and most of the platinums earned said were missing timestamps.  What does that mean?  Probably was mentioned in a forum post on here previously but did not find anything recent about this, thanks.

Usually you have the "missing timestamps" because you earned trophies before creating a profile or connecting the console to internet. That's what I know. And that's why I have something like 600 trophies with no timestamps. They were the first games I had on PS3, and I'd never connected the PS3 to internet and I had no profile. And i thought the trophies had no timestamps (like some games on DS and 3DS).  Then, when I decided to earn the online trophies of Rayman Legends and Saint Seiya, discovered that all the new trophies had the timestamps.

Another reason that I read somewhere is probably due to the internal battery of the console (like PS Vita): if you let the battery go to 0 %, probably the internal clock can reset, so you need to connect the Vita to internet before earning any other trophy.

So, in the end, it's just an annoying classification, nothing more.
