Popular Post Nineball_SeraphX
This comes courtesy of sonicnobody5 , who I asked for advice on getting the platinum considering how little info on this game is out there. I think this will be useful to everyone: Quote Howdy! No problem, I’d be happy to help how I can! Trust me, I found the lack of information a pain as well. For resources, I really only found two helpful tools: the import guide on reviews2go, and the mission guide for the Nintendo Switch US release, which came out on gamefaqs not too long ago (thank goodness this had some sort of English release, albeit off of a Sony console). Without the second option there, I doubt I would’ve plat the thing. I used that to point me in the right direction for the lengthiest/most confusing chapters in the game. It even has a brief ending guide for the six endings. I guess for the record, as far as I could tell, you will need a full six playthroughs to complete the gallery. Beat the game, click the Story option, and it restarts all over again, but with your upgrades, wallet, and everything. It does get faster though, as once you finish the game, you do indeed unlock invincibility (no more fall deaths!), perfect stealth, and a modifier for the bathtub timer, for easier coin grinding. You can turn those on with no consequence, save for the requirements for the worst ending. (Typing this on a phone, I’ll write this out over multiple messages) Quote Okay, I’m not certain if you’ve finished a full playthrough or not yet, so I’ll give some tips for that here, as it can be considered a different beast from the rest of the game. The import guide always insists that during the longer chapters, you start all over if you die. Not sure if it was true before any patch or whatnot, but, unless it’s a boss/subjugation, you can always leave the room and reenter. This triggers a checkpoint, saving what wave of enemies you’re on, or your coins/info collected. That said, if you leave during the middle of a wave of enemies, that wave does restart (this will be the bane of your existence in sections like 7-2). There is usually a sound effect when a new wave begins though, but keep an eye out for hiding enemies in those parts. On top of doorknobs, in between desk legs, fallen behind dressers, on the potted plant, all that. And yes, they will spawn in the highest points of the rooms as well. I tried to pick them off from afar, but some need to be reached. Anytime you’re about to take a series of risky leaps, leaving the room certainly helps (and you can manually save the game during these times too, outside of mission select). That may all sound scary, but just know it only applies to playthrough 1. Past that, fall damage and, well, damage in general will be a thing of the past for the most part. Only worry will be if the vita crashes, like it did for me during one of the yoga subjugations. Make sure to save, and you’ll be fine. Oh yeah, and I felt like an idiot when I found out after my third ending, but you can kill every type of squid enemy by jumping on their heads. Some take two, like the bigger ones or the small guys that drop ammo (they’re probably the most annoying, as they’re small and for some reason have the tankiest health), but you can kill them Mario style. Especially useful for the guys who hide in their helmet things whenever they take minor damage. Spamming bullets on them before they can hide also works too, but since I primarily used the spreadshot gun, I’d often accidentally hit multiple at the same time for non-lethal damage. Eventually you can become a daredevil and leap off high places, fall on their heads, and pop back up safe and sound. Kinda satisfying Quote Okay, as I said, there are six endings, which you probably already discovered. There’s four for the main girls, one by shooting a picture frame in a random section of 5-1, and a sixth for getting a C rank on all subjugations (so, Chapter’s 1 through 7. 8’s is not required, thankfully, as it doesn’t count as one). Basically, any fight that has a bath scene afterwards, you need to C rank. You’ll then also realize that the bath scenes were rewards the whole time, as they don’t happen at all if you get a C rank. I saved this I believe for my second-to-last playthrough, where I had long bought everything at the shop, and you’ll enjoy the time save of beating a boss, and then immediately skipping to the next chapter. Bath scenes are nice, but by the fifth playthrough, I took any time save I could get. Of course, the C ranks are why you can’t be invincible forever. The statistic online I saw is correct: finish with 75% damage, and have an accuracy of less than 40%. It sounded easy, then it seemed daunting when I realized how easy it could be to either die at the last second (the bosses with squids accompanying them, for instance) or accidentally get too good an accuracy, but in practice I was able to win (er, ‘poorly’) pretty reliably. By end game, you’ll have 999 bullets and like a 256 bullet clip, so you can spam walls for a couple minutes, then chip away at her limbs when stars and sweat aren’t homing in. These are slow at times, where you’ll need to find cover (usually under or around a sniper point. That stereo system for one. Sometimes the laptop in Room B ) for about a minute until the bullets stop assaulting, but they’re all doable. Just remember Chapter 4-3 has two bosses, and two bath events. So, that’s two C ranks in one chapter, the only one like that. As a general tip, probably goes without saying, but hold onto your health as long as possible. Use the scanner to see a refresher on what phase the girl is on, so you don’t accidentally win before you’re ready, then get walloped before doing the final blow. And of course, you can still heal at sniper points if you lose too much health too early. Just know you need to win while you have no clothes on. Huh, there’s some life advice I never thought I’d give. Either way, do all that, and the most annoying ending is finished! Once you get Chapter 7’s lack of a bath scene, I believe you’re locked in to the ending after 8, so long as you didn’t shoot the picture frame in Chapter 5-1. I can detail that a bit more later. Quote Crap, just wrote out a big section on mission select and S ranks, but my phone signed me out. That stinks, my apologies. I’ll have to abridge it here. The trophy requirements you can’t really determine from the Switch guide are: see all six endings, select every choice eventually in every cutscene, complete ten (possibly unique, but never needed to find out) missions as each character in Mission Select mode, earn all S ranks (including the nine Extra missions in Mission Select), and get killed in at least two ways. One, get killed by a girl’s ‘aura’ (the orbs, stars, sweat, hearts, all that), and die by getting crushed by a girl. Easiest I found was rushing through Chapter 5’s subjugation. Stop behind her, shot away, got bombarded, and she eventually tripped on me at the perfect moment. Best death ever, and trophy. As for S ranks, don’t be like me and try them on playthrough 1. I did not know there’d be invincibility eventually, so I did everything but 7-2 before I finished. Bad, bad idea. Wait til post game, then either do them in Mission Select, or one of the future playthroughs. But it’s a good chance to complete ten missions as the characters, and hey, there’s nine new ones anyway only in that mode, so it’d probably even save you several times the play length! S ranks of course are the grindiest parts, not counting six full playthroughs. Outside of subjugations, all stages are graded on the five aspects you see every result screen, although requirements are ill-described and sometimes non-sensical. I did not assume Time mattered until it screwed me over in 7-2. That said, it only seems to exist to screw you over if you take longer than an hour. Invincibility removes that necessity. For clarification, the requirements are Time, Coins, Information, Damage, and Accuracy, and every stage is different with what it wants. Also, do good in like three categories, and you’ll probably S. 7-2, I had 90 for coins and info, and 82 for accuracy, but the hour gave me an A. Did only about 80 for coins and info next, but finished in about 25 minutes, and got the S. It’s strange, hope you have good fortune with it. So long as I tried finding everything, time or accuracy didn’t really affect me, and I got most S ranks first try. Of course, it sucked when I could die, so again, don’t do it first playthrough. Quote I sadly can’t offer much on finding all information, as they’re all over the place, but always keep an eye out for underwear on the floor, especially under beds. They count as 10%, and you unlock them in the store. Oh yeah, that is also a trophy: buy everything, including the expensive and kinda superfluous scanner upgrades. I was terrified when I realized the panties on the floor were all necessary, but I apparently found them all across my first playthrough. They’re are technically the easiest ‘Info’ to find, save the plot-mandatory ones. For general ‘Info’ spots themselves, basically go everywhere in every mission. Check that potted plant, specifically right below the first lead. Check the bases of all TVs and inside every trash can. Sometimes in front of computer screens, sometimes pillows or headboards. And of course, in some instances, they’ll be out of view, such as one spot behind one of those books under Room A’s desk, and whenever you need to investigate the coffin on the floor in Room B. Of course, remember: they are all visible as sparkles if you check through the scanner, but the comments online recommending this usually forgot to mention how tedious and impractical that could be most of the time. Still, it gives you a first-person view of the room, so find a medium-to-high vantage point of the room (but not too high, or the camera locks) and look around everywhere. Failing that, head extremely low and try the same thing. Not counting bosses, there are only ten info spots in each section (spread across all accessible rooms, even if the plot doesn’t require you to go there), and you never need all ten outside of plot objectives where you’ll find ten if not more (that Switch gamefaqs guide is a life-saver there). Also, they are not random, so in the worst case scenario where you get an A or whatnot thanks to something like accuracy or time, they’ll be in the same spot when you retry. But again, never really got screwed by that outside of 7-2. One last point there: Extra Missions thankfully only take place in one room, and the earliest missions have coins hovering above or around the Information spots. These missions are different: they require you to find all ten spots, which then unlocks cubes you also must find. I believe they start as three, then five, and it’s been some time, but I think the final one requires ten cubes. Don’t quote me on that though. The later ones can be really hidden, but you hopefully have plenty of leniency with the time. After some time, I just kinda was able to predict where the sparkles would be hidden, and then I’d circle the room again for the cubes. Again, check every crevice, behind every book (including seemingly-extremely tight spots behind books under beds) and atop desk chairs. The internet had absolutely no information on these extra missions, but they went smoother than I realized. I wish you the same fortune! Phew, sorry if this is long and winding, or if I’ve missed crucial stuff you still want to know. If something pops up, or if you still have specific questions, let me know, no problem! On that note, I actually recently acquired the English Switch release, but have yet to make it too far. I can actually learn the specifics of what’s happening in this game though x-D Which also means that, if necessary, I can potentially offer clearer guidance if need be. But really, these tips, along with the Switch mission overview and just overall patience, should be enough to get you the Plat! Best of luck, I wish you well! Key takeaways from me (still on first playthrough): - Don't worry about ranks, etc in your first playthrough, just go through it normally since you're gonna do more playthroughs (plus, you're gonna get invincibility once you finish the game, thus making it easier) - Remember to collect the underwear in the rooms, especially under the bed, etc - You'll have to do 6 playthroughs altogether - The Switch release mission guide is useful: here - You can jump on the squids to kill them - useful with the tankier white ones. - For the rest, I have no comments yet: I am only on ch3 ;D
Lord_Bane999
Honestly wish more obscure titles had posts like this. Alot of great information all in one topic. Thanks
Dragonslayer_023
Do you know how to S Rank Chapter 6 First Order? I beat it in under 4 minutes with 90% info and 90% accuracy but it's just an A Rank. Edit: Nevermind, I brute force it by doing multiple runs, one to get my time down to 30 seconds and then one to get 90% picoins. After that one I had S Rank. For those that don't know, the game saves your top result in each of the 5 scoring categories, so you can make multiple runs to S Rank a stage if you have to. Even if you don't get an S on the results screen in one run you can raise your rank to an S on mission select if you improve in one of the categories.
