I've done a couple of tests. Without using a turbo controller/macro/autoclicker, the fastest way to earn money is to manually play the Bronze race and come in second. This nets you $1.000 for a race of approximately 1 minute (you win 1.500, entry fee is 500). This is quicker than the endless mode, which takes around 1.30mins for netting $1.000 while using turbo a lot.
