To all the people who have the platinum in this game, what tips would you give for the Crystal Carry on Hard in Episode 4?

 

I've tried playing as every character but the enemy team is just so aggressive and quick

Its a pain in the ass. The AI are extremely aggressive and hard hitting and your friendlies have brains the size of peas. The best bet you have is to use Noelle as she can heal and her attacks are decently strong. Haven't played this game in a while so I'm just saying from memory. Happy hunting.

I see that you got the platinum. 

 

Any additional tips that you can share? 

 

I essentially gave up a while ago essentially because of this mission (and the one after) on Hard.. But I'm doing some trophy cleanup, and I'm thinking in trying again to plat this, if there's any hope for me to do it... Otherwise I guess that I will just grab all other trophies..

Use Noelle. Keep your distance. Use your allies as bait so the enemies won't attack you. Use your shield attack and heal as often as you can. Don't try to depend on your teammates they won't help you. Try to focus on the objective and kill enemies trying to kill you. Took me around an hour. If I can do it you can too.

Happy to help.

 

Firstly, playing as Noelle is a must, you want to play safely back and never too close to the action (unless no enemies are around the crystal).

 

At the start when the zone is open for capture, you want to be up on the small hill/cliff near your end of the map, use Noelle's attacks to pick off Magna and Vanessa, usually your team will deal with Luck because they're fighters. 

 

Only try to capture the zone if no enemies are in sight or if they're distracted far away. If you do die early on and there's still a good amount of time left, then go for the Magic Item, the extra damage makes the difference. 

 

Pick people off on your way back to the crystal and only escort it when your team is around. If you see the enemies coming from afar then try and snipe them to keep them back.

 

If they get too close then back away from the crystal abit to take them out.

Thanks for the more elaborated tips! 

 

I vaguely remember going straight for the crystal trying to stop it without success (dying a lot).. So, I was essentially tackling it the wrong way ? 

 

Since my play time is every day getting shorter and I'm giving priority to Assassin's Creed Black Flag on PS3, due to online trophies, it will take a while until I try the hard missions again, but I will keep in mind all your tips to see if I can beat the mission!
