Didn’t get platinum avatar award

It should be available in the EU region which Saudi should be part of. Do you receive promotional emails from Sony? I think there is some box you need to tick somewhere on your account to activate those. 

 

This is from the American Platinum Trophy rewards page: " Customer email address must be valid and customer must be opted-in to PlayStation marketing communications at the time the Platinum Trophy is achieved."

 

So, if you hadn't opted in before the platinum was earned then you won't get the avatar. That could be the issue.

I contacted PlayStation Support about getting rewards for the God of War, Spiderman and Horizon Zero Dawn platinums. They told me there was nothing they could do because it was a US-only promotion. (I'm EU). I pushed them further and they agreed to forward me on to their "specialist team". The specialist team sent me the codes without issue. Baseline PlayStation Support suck ass.

I hope you're doing well.

 

Sorry for just replying. Did you resolve this issue? If not, please continue reading. I'm also from Saudi and faced the exact same issue. Not with God of War, but with Spider-Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Bloodborne instead. Since this issue is too detailed, there is no specific way to resolve it using the bot system of the PlayStation homepage.

 

I spend a while with the issue. After solving it, I figured that this is the quickest and easiest way possible:

1.     Open the following link:

2.      Click “Yes”
3.      Click “Return the game or add-on”
4.      Click “It’s not working properly”

 

Now you may ask, what does "Return the game or add-on" have anything to do with the issue. Well, I realized this is the quickest way to get in touch with an actual representative instead of a bot. After the fourth step, you will be redirected to a queue and await your turn. Keep your laptop/phone charged and always near you, as this might take a while and your turn can come up at any time. Do not close the page! You will then finally start chatting with an actual person. You can then explain to them the issue specifically, and this could be your chance to share other issues if you had any. In my case, I explained that I didn't receive the rewards for the above-mentioned games.

 

A few days later, PlayStation finally got back to me and send me codes of all the rewards I was missing. So this should hopefully be helpful to you.
